Going For a Hike ?

Don’t we all just love a weekend hike?!

Just imagine taking a break after trekking up a mountain with gorgeous view, or sitting down along the neighbourhood trail. The wind is breezing, the sun beat gently against your cheek and the fresh air is filling you with energy!

What better way to fuel your body, then to bring snacks?! Most snacks are tasty, and even more delicious enjoying outdoors.

This photo was taken during a full day hike in Yosemite on a hot summer day. Do we even have to tell you that the snacks we brought, were delish with this beautiful view and tired legs?

Nuts and dried fruit is such a handy thing to bring anywhere.

This Raw Superfoods Trail Mix from Better Foods consists of Goji Berries, Golden Berries, Mulberries, Raisins, Brazil Nuts, Cashews, Walnuts, Pumpkin and Sunflower Seeds. Click this link for availability.

Instant coffee for those early morning adventures. Because we love our coffee, right?

These Coffee Brewer bags from Growers Cup has been with us many times, on many different altitudes. Just pour hot water into the bag and its built-in filter does the work. Click this link for availability.

But, as long as hot water doesn’t grown on trees, you’ll need a boiling device.

If you do not already have something to heat up your water with, you should check out Trangia’s products. This is high-quality products made in Sweden since 1925.

Trangia has all sorts of equipment for outdoor/hiking cooking. This picture is showing one of their kits, with the original alcohol burner. They do offer a version with a propane burner. Explore Trangia products availability.

Didn’t bring enough water with you? You can easily boil clear spring water. The heat is killing microorganisms and you get purified drinking water in only a couple of minutes.
